Shahzia Sikander Mural, 2025
Through ArtWorks, I was a Teaching Artist working with a lead and additional TA to assist and instruct 15 youth apprentices to create a mural designed by Shahzia Sikander. Shahzia is an Pakistani-American artist who works in many different mediums with a collective of of interests from diasporic experiences, feminism, colonialism, Pakistani art, Western art, feminism, the list goes on. Shahzia aimed to have this mural be a collective of her past works to create a sort of halo around the center figure motifs. Getting to work with Shahzia personally was a wonderful opportunity that I won't be forgetting anytime soon. (more pics to come after touch ups).
Monster Wall, 2025
I designed 160ft of monsters for a wall by Keep Cincinnati Beautiful that had gotten too tagged up to save. Through CHCURC I was given the opportunity to design this wall, and I wanted it to be something fun that could take up that long of a space but make sense for the narrow height. So, I got the pleasure of creating a bunch of creatures interacting with their confines. No longer in school, I was npt one of the apprentices that got to work on this project, but they did fantastic work!

Ohio Ave Mural, 2024
Design inspired by a Norman Rockwell painting.

CRC Mural, 2024
My first time designing a mural, I worked with another co-op, Eve MIller, to create a design that made the Corryville Rec Center a more inviting place that feels safe and exemplifies all of the great services the center provides.
