Frogging to Reclaim (2024)
Frogging is a term in crocheting that is basically restringing a project, as a way to start over and reclaim the yarn and make something new. I wanted to apply this imagery to the brain as a gory but hopeful outlook, I can always start again and keep working towards a better version of myself.
What's Going On Up There? (2024)
A painting experiment combining relief stencils, photoshop collage, Posca pens and acrylic. This piece is a depiction of mental state and the disorienting thoughts that plague like pop up ads. In this experimentation I wanted to show what it felt like to feed into going down those thought rabbit holes.

Truth vs Reality (2024)
The truth is in the eye of the beholder, but when it comes to my body I am ever changing from self-love to scrutiny. I wanted to depict the internal struggle around a sensitive subject such as the body, and as a woman in a gendered body this is an ever present struggle I’m exploring.
The Hand That Bites (2024)
Touching on verbal violence in its relation to physicality, the correlation between throwing words and having a sharp tongue to a rabid dog. The absurdity of childhood imagery such as shadow puppets to depict the aggression of words and the imprint left behind.
